Join CREW Detroit for a tour of three Marygrove Conservancy campus buildings. One has been recently completed, one is in active-phased construction and one is in the early planning phase. Buildings tours will include the new early childhood education center (new construction), the school and community health center (renovation), and a community impact incubator (former student union).
The K-8 and high school students will benefit from the campus schools once open to the public, and the University of Michigan School of Education will create curriculum via its teacher residency program. The Community Impact Incubator provides support for more than 50 small, local businesses in the community.
CREW Detroit's annual Hard Hats and Heels event highlights a new project or series of projects under development in our region and with special impact on the surrounding community. The goal is to showcase developments nearing completion so attendees can get a feel for the project challenges and solutions, and learn about the owner's goals. Hard Hats and Heels is a great networking opportunity that starts with a tour of the project and ends with a networking hour.
