This week’s spotlight is on Elizabeth Lyon, Business Development Manager, Roncelli.  Liz is the Chair for CREW Detroit Golf Committee.  With her on-going enthusiasm, leadership and commitment, CREW Detroit Golf committee’s mission is to connect the commercial real estate industry through the game of golf. The committee offers participants, sponsor’s and volunteers a high caliber event, while promoting networking and increasing the visibility of the CREW Detroit brand to non-CREW Detroit members. The Golf Committee also organizes a Swing & Sip event, which allows members and non-members to learn the game of golf or to improve their skills. The Golf Committee aims to continuously build upon the existing golf events, in an effort to be the premiere networking, sponsorship and charitable fundraising event in Southeast Michigan.

Name the app you can’t live without. Why?
Zillow.  Currently house hunting and it is addicting!

What character trait do you most admire?
It’s between confidence & loyalty.

Do you have any hidden talents?
No.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Remember you were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen more than you speak.

Who is your favorite Superhero? Why?
Does Cat Woman count?  Growing up I loved her character in the batman movies and cartoon.  Brave, confident, sass, independent, sexy- all around bad@ss. 😊

What was the biggest thing, business or personal, you accomplished this year?
During the midst of Covid I moved to a new company with so much growth potential for myself. Although I was advised against this- I put faith in myself and trusted my gut.

Is there a charitable cause you support? If so, what makes them so important to you?
Ferndale Cat Shelter, Detroit Dog Rescue (DDR) and Michigan Humane Society (MHS).  I donate and volunteer because of my love for animals and passion to spread awareness. Each year so many homeless animals are euthanized due to overpopulation and overcrowding in shelters, through no fault of their own. Animals bring so much joy and happiness to my life. My girls are rescues and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What is the most important thing we should know about you?
Don’t mistake my silence for lack of caring or stupidity.
