About the Event:
Do you have your eye on a key property in metro Detroit? Come to the CREW May program and learn about development opportunities from the area’s largest property owners particularly in the City of Detroit. A panel of six speakers will provide practical information, technical details and inspiration to developers and investors with a passion for the Detroit region.

People who attend this event will learn how to:

  • Learn where development opportunities are and how to acquire property from the area’s largest property owners
  • Work with DPS, the State of Michigan, The Detroit Land Bank, Archdiocese of Detroit and the City to acquire land use permits, approvals, and properties.
  • Explore the new School Building Adaptive Re-use Zoning Ordinance Amendment.
  • Investors, developers, and builders will learn site specific details, and an overview on how to purchase real estate from the major land owners while also getting insight into navigating the City of Detroit’s development review processes.
