‘Mix, Mingle & CREW’ with local professionals at DAM

DETROIT – Local professionals are invited to network with commercial real estate industry leaders at the CREW Detroit “Mix, Mingle & CREW” event at the Detroit Artists Market March 25.

Mix, Mingle & CREW provides an opportunity for guests to learn more about CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Detroit while rubbing shoulders with Southeast Michigan’s commercial real estate experts. Attendees can expect to build their business networks while learning more about the organization. CREW members will be on hand to share valuable insight on what membership has to offer, and each member is encouraged to bring a guest to increase networking potential at the event.

Networking at Mix, Mingle & CREW is organized with casual conversation in mind. Attendees will be placed in small groups where they’ll be asked to answer profession-related and conversation-starting questions in roundtable fashion. Networking is structured to foster new relationships and team building.

The cost to attend is $25 for members and $50 for guests. To help illustrate the distinct benefits of membership, CREW Detroit is not offering a special rate for guests signed up by members. The cost includes hand-passed appetizers, drink tickets and business card raffle. Attendees should bring plenty of business cards.

The March 25 Mix, Mingle & CREW starts with registration at 5:30 p.m. Networking begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. The Detroit Artists Market is located at 4719 Woodward Ave. in Midtown Detroit. Parking is available for $5 behind the building; the lot is accessed from W. Forest (attendees should enter from the parking lot entrance).

Registration is appreciated by March 24, but walk-ins are always welcomed.

I have never attended a CREW meeting. I am not in commercial real estate, but I am a commercial insurance professional. Is this event designed specifically for the real estate professionals or would there be a need or interest to have a commercial insurance professional in attendance? Just wanted to get a feel for this event before I register. Thanks!
